Native Instruments' NKS standard is a somewhat complicated beast, and they've not made it at all easy for small independent developers like me to create NKS versions of our products. Fortunately, U-he have created an easy method of turning Diva presets into NKS files, allowing users to access their Diva presets within the Kontrol environment. The downside of this, however, is that U-he haven't provided a way to embed audio demos within the presets, and therefore it's not possible to preview presets from within NKS. This is an unfortunate limitation of the NKS presets that Diva kicks out, but one that it is currently not possible to overcome. The reason I include NKS presets with my Diva soundbanks is that I feel it's beneficial to be able to access the presets from the Kontrol environment, even if previewing the sound before loading it is not possible.
