Why are there no .h2p files included in my download?

Traditionally, Diva and Hive soundbanks were installed using ".h2p" files. The method of installation for these was a little non-user friendly, and required users to dive through series of folders hidden deep on their computer in order to place files in the correct place. Later on, U-he introduced a bank installing method, allowing users to install their soundbanks using one single ".uhe-soundset" file.

Unfortunately, U-he didn't publicise this very well, and also made it difficult for sound designers to create the ".uhe-soundset", which means that not many sound designers have started using this method.

A couple of years ago, I made the decision to start using ".uhe-soundset" files instead of the tradition ".h2p" installation method, as I felt that this would simplify the installation of my presets within Diva and Hive. This also has the added benefit of installing any extras at the same time, such as NKS presets, without further installation steps.

To find out how to install my soundbanks in Diva and Hive, simply follow the installation instructions contained in the User Manual provided with each product, or follow the instructions outlined in this article - How do install Diva presets?
